Moula takes part in first Arab-Italian Business Forum workshop

ALGIERS — The President of the Algerian Economic Renewal Council (CREA), Kamel Moula, participated in the first workshop of the Arab-Italian Business Forum, which was held Tuesday in Rome, according to a Council statement released Wednesday.

Discussions during the 4th annual Forum centered around the impact of the Mattei Plan on Arab countries across Africa, according to the same source.

The Mattei Plan is a cooperation framework founded on respect for national sovereignty. For Algeria specifically, this plan is centered on several key sectors, notably agriculture, energy (oil and gas), and renewable energy (hydrogen), added the statement.

On the sidelines of the event, CREA and its Italian partner, the General Confederation of Italian Industry (Confindustria), agreed to develop a roadmap for 2025, outlining key partnership sectors between the two countries, according to the same source.
