Omani operators prepare to launch investment projects in Algeria

ALGIERS- The president of the Oman Investment Authority (OIA), Abdulsalam bin Mohammad Al Murshidi, affirmed Tuesday in Algiers that preparations were underway to launch investment projects by Omani operators in Algeria in several sectors that will be defined in the forthcoming weeks and months.

In a press statement at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Republic, following the audience granted to him by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Al Murshidi said that he "plans, in the forthcoming weeks and months, to define several projects in the initially targeted key sectors, namely the food security sector and the pharmaceutical industries sector."

 

OIA’s president emphasized that the President of the Republic welcomed "any form of cooperation between Algeria and the Sultanate of Oman in various sectors." He added that the President of the Republic, who reviewed all cooperation files between Algeria and the Sultanate of Oman, gave instructions to ensure the necessary conditions for the success of joint projects.  [/ecr]
