Sonelgaz CEO discusses project progress with General Electric executives

ALGIERS- Sonelgaz Group CEO, Mourad Adjal, held a video conference meeting Wednesday with senior executives of the American company “General Electric,” led by Joe Anis, Executive Director of Energy Services for South Asia, Middle East and Africa at “GE Vernova,” during which he highlighted “the great progress made in implementing various projects” between the two parties, Sonelgaz said in a press release.

This meeting, which follows the visit of Adjal and key Group officials to Atlanta (United States) last December, is part of monitoring cooperation between the two parties and the pace of implementation of several projects and agreements between them, particularly regarding electricity transmission, production, maintenance and training, according to the same source.

During this meeting, Adjal emphasized “Sonelgaz’s commitment to this cooperation based on the win-win principle,” expressing satisfaction with the great progress made in implementing various projects.

For his part, Joe Anis reiterated “his company’s commitment to supporting the partnership with Sonelgaz,” praising “Sonelgaz’s considerable support to General Electric regarding joint projects,” considering this as “a great motivation driving General Electric to work so as to honour all its commitments,” he said.
