The award was presented during an official ceremony organized by the Italian Parliament at the Barberini Palace, in the presence of prominent political and economic figures, the Algerian Ambassador to Italy, and several members of both houses of Parliament.

In his speech, Adjal expressed pride in receiving this distinction, praising the support of the country's highest authorities, headed by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, for Sonelgaz's efforts to enhance investments in renewable energy and energy security in the region.

This honor is an international recognition of Sonelgaz's efforts and Algeria's commitment to strengthening regional cooperation in the energy sector, and "reflects our tireless work to support the energy transition, enhance renewable energy projects, and ensure the complementarity of electrical networks in the Mediterranean region," he said.
