HARARE- The Algerian badminton team secured second place at the African U15 championships, which wrapped up Friday in Harare (Zimbabwe), with a total of four medals: two gold, one silver and one bronze.

Maurice claimed the first place in the medal table, with three gold medals, while South Africa rounded out the podium with just one gold.

Oussama Keddou won Algeria’s gold medals, claiming the first in the boys’ singles event and the second in the boys’ doubles event, where he teamed up with his compatriot Rayan Ahmed Daoud.

The silver medal was grabbed by Rayan Ahmed Daoud in the boys’ singles event, while the mixed team won the bronze medal.[/ecr]
