Futsal (CAN 2024 qualifiers): Algerian coach Benamrouche calls 15 players for Libya match

ALGIERS- Algeria's futsal team is preparing for the double match against their Libyan counterpart as part of the qualifiers of the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN 2024).

Led by national coach Noredine Benamrouche, the Algerian team carried out intensive training sessions in the Harcha Hacene Sports Hall of Algiers.

Ahead of the important game, the national coach called 15 players for the abroad match in Misrata, Libya.

The departure for Misrata is scheduled for Wednesday morning, January 31st, while the match will take place on Saturday, February 3rd, at 19:00.

The return match will be held on Saturday 10 February 2024 at 19:00 in Algiers.

The winner in the double match will qualify for the final of the futsal CAN 2024, to take place in April in a country to be determined soon after the withdrawal of Mozambique.

A total of 13 nations will compete in the qualifiers for the Africa Futsal Cup of Nations.

Samyr Teffaf, Ali Dahmani, Mohamed Bendifallah, Selim Meziani, Abdelhak Djabrani, Sofiane Medjahed, Abdelraouf Djelloul, Amar Bessa, Boumeyden Bensaber, Azzedine Takdjerad, Mathieu Hammad, Amine Bencherif,  Walid Betterki, Sofiane Ahmed-Kadi, Wassim Si-Chaib.
