The Algerian team, consisting of Mehdi Bouhmama, Mohand Yahiatene, Ryad Lefkir, and Zayd Yahiaoui, dominated their Ghanaian counterpart with a score of 16 to 11.

Meanwhile, the women’s team was knocked out in the group stage (B) with only one victory against Ethiopia (16-12) and three defeats conceded against the Democratic Republic of the Congo (17-16), Mali (16-13), and Rwanda (13-12).
