Algerian Youcef Reguigui secures 2nd win at 2024 Cycling Tour of Algeria

BLIDA – Algerian Youcef Reguigui secured on Wednesday a second win at the 2024 Cycling Tour of Algeria by winning the 154.3-kilometer fourth stage in Blida, with the participation of 74 riders from 16 teams.

The member of the Malaysian Terengganu Cycling Team has secured his second sprint victory, having previously won the second stage in Mostaganem. He crossed the finish line with a time of 3h 19m 23sec, outpacing the German competitor Tilleman Sarnowski (Embrace The World) and the Algerian cyclist Hamza Yacine (Team Madar Pro), who both clocked the same time.

In the general classification, the Algerian Ayoub Sahiri (NR Dely Ibrahim) has kept the yellow jersey of leader.

The fifth stage of the 2024 Cycling Tour of Algeria is slated for Thursday, covering a distance of 129.5 km from Blida to Bouira.
