Paris Olympics (skiff): Algerian rower Nihad Benchadli wins E final

PARIS (France)- Algerian Nihad Benchadli won the E final of rowing (women's individual skiff) in the Paris Olympic Games 2024, held Friday morning at the Olympic Nautical Stadium of Vaires-sur-Marne.

The Algerian rower, 22, competing in the Olympic Games for the first time, won the race clocking 7:54.27 and ranking 25th (in the overall ranking).

Her compatriot, Sid Ali Boudina, will compete the C final (13th and 18th positions) of men's individual skiff, scheduled for Saturday (8:42, Algerian time) at the Olympic Nautical Stadium of Vaires-sur-Marne.

Boudina seeks to get the best ranking possible after his elimination in the quarter final of the main draw.
