ALGIERS- The Algerian Olympic champion in gymnastics, Kaylia Nemour, expressed her gratitude for the support and encouragements she received from the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, after winning on Sunday the gold medal in the uneven bars event at the Paris Olympics.

“I thank the president of the Republic for his support and I hope I made everyone proud of me,” the Algerian gymnast Kaylia Nemour told the national press in Paris.  

The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, offered live congratulations to the Algerian gymnast on her gold medal win during the People’s National Army Day celebration, which he chaired at the National Army Circle in Beni Messous, Algiers.

“On behalf of the Army, the Presidency of the Republic, and the Algerian people, we congratulate ourselves and we congratulate our athlete Nemour on her gold medal,” the President of the Republic said on this occasion.
