PARIS (France)- Algerian Djelal Safia grabbed the gold medal in the sitting weight event (F57) at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris, with a throw of 11m56, hitting the Paralympic record, while her compatriot, Nassima Saifi, won a bronze (10m.74), in a final held Thursday morning at the Saint-Denis Stadium.
