2024 Paralympics: Brahim Guendouz strikes gold for Algeria in Kayak Single 200m - KL3

PARIS — Algerian Brahim Guendouz secured the gold medal in the Para Canoe Men's Kayak Single 200m - KL3, during the “A” final held on Saturday at Paris Aquatics Stadium as part of the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games.

Guendouz achieved a time of (39' 91"), ahead of Australian Dylan Littlehales who won the silver medal with a time of (40.68) and Brazilian Miqueias Rodrigues (40.75) who finished third in this final, securing the bronze medal.

This is a historic gold medal for Algeria in para-canoe.

Guendouz becomes the first Arab-African athlete to win gold in this Paralympic specialty, during his first participation in these Games.
