MP Fatma Bida advocates for ending suffering of Gaza's children

ALGIERS — People's National Assembly (Parliament’s lower house) member Fatma Bida called in Yerevan, Armenia's capital, to end the suffering of Gaza's children, deprived of their right to education and subjected to the brutal aggression carried out by the Zionist occupation forces, the lower house said on Friday in a statement.

During her participation in the 10th Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), Bida highlighted “the suffering of Gaza's children deprived of their right to education and essential health care. This is due to the dangerous and challenging conditions they face, stemming from the brutal aggression carried out by the Zionist entity against the Palestinian people in the occupied territories,” the statement noted.

The deputy pointed out that displaced children from Palestine, Syria and Yemen are also facing “an extremely complex situation,” warning against “its devastating impact on their personality and future.”

She stressed that it is crucial to “remove the constraints imposed by certain powers that undermine peace efforts and, through their policies, obstruct the right of these children to education and health care,” the same source said.
