Gaza: States must suspend their economic, political and military ties with Zionist entity

NEW YORK (United Nations) — The United Nations Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the occupied Palestinian territories, Francesca Albanese, said on Sunday that States must suspend their economic, political and military ties with the Zionist entity in order to halt the genocide in Gaza.

In an interview with UN News, Albanese advocated for the necessity of “imposing sanctions, suspending economic, diplomatic, political and military ties with (the Zionist entity) in order to end the occupation and the genocide in Gaza.”

The UN rapporteur stated that “she has observed that the international community is fragmented, with the West incapable of seeing that a genocide is being committed, which undermines any long-term solution and destroys the international order.”
