Zionist aggression: Ceasefire agreement takes effect in Gaza

GAZA — The ceasefire agreement went into effect in Gaza on Sunday after being delayed by more than two and a half hours, due to the occupying authorities' decision to only implement it after receiving the list of prisoners of war to be released, reported the Palestinian news agency Wafa.

The agreement came into effect at 9:15 GMT.

According to the agreement announced last Wednesday by the Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, the ceasefire was supposed to take effect at 8:30 local time (6:30 GMT).

Sunday morning, the occupation forces continued their bombardments on several areas of the Gaza Strip, resulting in 11 and dozens of wounded.
