President Tebboune reaffirms APRM's importance in strengthening good governance, promoting stability

ADDIS ABABA- The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, reaffirmed on Friday at the African Union (AU) headquarters in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), the importance of the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM) in strengthening good governance and promoting stability.

In a speech delivered during his chairmanship of the 34th APRM Heads of State and Government Summit, in his capacity as president of this Mechanism, the President of the Republic affirmed that “the APRM is now important for strengthening good governance and promoting stability,” adding that this Mechanism is not a mere formality.

In this respect, The President of the Republic called for “unifying efforts for Africa’s progress” and “defending the interests of its peoples.”
