NEW YORK (United Nations)– The United Nations Security Council approved a press statement on the initiative of the A3+ group, in which it reaffirmed its "strong commitment" to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Sudan and expressed "its deep concern" regarding ongoing discussions about establishing "a parallel government authority" in the country.
