ALGIERS- Voter turnout in the partial local elections of the members of the People’s Communal Assemblies of four municipalities in Bejaia reached 12.47%, against 12% in two municipalities in Tizi Ouzou the chairman of the National Independent Authority for Elections (ANIE), Mohamed Charfi, said on Saturday.

Charfi said, in a statement at the ANIE headquarters at the Palace of Nations, that the turnout reached “12.47% in Bejaia and 12% in Tizi Ouzou at 1.00 p.m.”
The province of Bejaia recorded a participation turnout of 4.43% and 5.58% Tizi Ouzou at 11 a.m.
