[ecr]  “The State makes sure to relaunch development projects for citizens wherever they are and to meet their needs for a decent life,” said Merad during his meeting with the representatives of the civil society, local representatives and a number of investors as part of a working and inspection visit to the province of Touggourt.  

The minister underscored that his ministerial department is, through the field visits in the ten new provinces, enquiring about the state of development in these regions in order to determine their needs and deal with them.

The expressed concerns and needs will be dealt with according to the available priorities and means, he said.

In a reply to questions asked during this meeting, mainly on health, employment and housing, the minister said that Touggourt, like the other new provinces, will benefit from important development projects and programmes in various sectors in 2023, which “will enable, he said, boosting development” in the region.  [/ecr]
