The two sides discussed ways to strengthen the friendship and partnership relations between Algeria and China as part of follow-up to the decisions and conclusions of the State visit paid by the President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune to China in July 2023, said the source.

The two sides agreed on “the necessity of continuing the bilateral coordination within the UN Security Council on issues of common interest, foremost among them the Palestinian cause, and the exchange of views on the Security Council’s reform to meet the developing countries’ aspirations and to right the historical injustice inflicted upon Africa,” added the source.
