These tourists, divided into several groups, were welcomed at a hotel in the town center of Taghit, as part of a program implemented in collaboration with travel and tourism agencies, thanks to the exceptional 50% reduction offered by the national airline "Air Algérie" from March 10 to April 13 on international flight tickets to Algeria for members of the Algerian community living abroad, in compliance with the instructions of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the hotel director told APS.

In addition to reconnecting with the culture of their country of origin, this program allowed them to discover the tourist, natural, and historical sites of Taghit, as well as the various facets of the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of this region with high tourism potential, Djamel Abassi emphasized.

Various cultural, artistic, and sporting activities were organized in different natural spaces of the region (dunes and palm groves) to enliven their tourist stay, he added.
