ALGIERS- The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, announced Wednesday, during a working and inspection visit to the city of Algiers, the completion of the studies phase for the construction of two stadiums in the provinces of Bechar and Ouargla, highlighting that the projects implemented recently enabled all the country’s regions to benefit from sports facilities for young people.

While inaugurating Shaheed Ali Ammar Stadium in Douera, the President of the Republic explained that “through the projects implemented in the sports sector such as Nelson Mandela Stadium in Baraki and Hocine-Ait Ahmed Stadium in Tizi Ouzou, the roofing of stadiums in various cities like the 5 July stadium and the completion of studies for the construction of two stadiums in Bachar and Ouargla, all the country’s regions have benefited from sport facilities for young people.”

On this occasion, the President of the Republic held talks with family members of the martyr Ali la Pointe, before handing the Mouloudia Club d’Alger (MCA) soccer team leaders the presidential decree on stadium operation by this legendary club.

After visiting the various facilities of this sports infrastructure, the President of the Republic greeted MCA’s former players and congratulated the club and its supporters on this stadium.

The President of the Republic voiced encouragement to the MCA youth category players, wishing them a successful career to bring pride to Algerian football in the upcoming international competitions.[/ecr]
