Chairing the ceremony of handing over the agricultural concession act, “the qualification certificate” to the investor, the governor of El-Meniaâ, Mokhtar Benmalek emphasized that this project will consolidate agricultural production capacities in the region, ensuring that his services were working to smooth out all difficulties, in order to successfully carry out this promising investment, by accelerating the process of granting authorization for drilling agricultural wells and documents governing the progress of this project.

For his part, the provincial director of the ONTA of El-Méniaâ, Chettouh Lahcène, affirmed that the regularization of this investment file, which was pending, “is meant to be a step towards supporting the State's plan aimed at increasing production capacities and expanding irrigated areas.”

According to the same official, the investor can benefit from support programs and seeds, for the production of cereals and fodder, fruit tree cultivation, palm tree cultivation, and livestock breeding.[/ecr]
