ALGIERS — As the clock struck midnight, a national flag-raising ceremony took place at the Martyrs' Memorial in Algiers, marking the 70th anniversary of the outbreak of the glorious Revolution of November 1st, 1954, with this year's slogan being “Glorious November: Loyalty and Renewal.”
