State commits to continue improving citizens’ purchasing power

ALGIERS- President of the Republic Abdelmadjid Tebboune reiterated the State’s commitment to continue improving the citizens’ purchasing power.

[ecr]  In extracts of his periodic interview with the representatives of the national media outlets, which will be aired on Thursday evening on the national public and private TV channels and radio stations, President Tebboune said “We will continue improving the citizens’ purchasing power and the annual increase in salaries.”

Underlining the necessity of “generalizing the use of digitization,” the Head of State said that this move “will enable making a census of the families with a single income.”

“Digitization will become one day a reality and everything will be revealed,” he affirmed.

Concerning the fight against corruption, the President of the Republic emphasized the efforts made by the State to counter this scourge.

“We have recovered colossal amounts of funds that were plundered and we follow the file of hoarded funds,” he said. [/ecr]
