“More than 8 million users transported by the installations of the Algerian Cable Transport company during 2023, i.e. a growth of over 13% and 6% compared to 2022,” said ETAC. 

Breaking down this “use record,” the gondola of the province of Tizi Ouzou accounted for 44%, 19% for the cable car of Memorial in Algiers, 14% for the gondola of Tlemcen, and 10% for the gondola of Bab El Oued (Algiers). 

As it energetically continues its mission, ETAC Company affirmed that it remains “actively” committed to developing public and touristic transportation.

ETAC said that its activity was focused particularly “on zones with dense and difficult access, where other modes of transport encounter major challenges,” the statement wrapped up.
