As dawn broke, worshippers began flocking to mosques nationwide to welcome the sunrise on this holy day, with supplications and praises exalting Almighty Allah, following the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

On this occasion, the imams urged the people in their sermons to “embrace the values of solidarity and forgiveness by visiting relatives and maintaining kinship ties, which are of great importance in our religion.”

They urged promoting the values of tolerance and spreading joy on this blessed day that comes after a month of fasting, prayers and various acts of faith.

The imams also prayed for our Palestinian brothers who are living in very difficult conditions because of the Zionist aggression against the Gaza Strip and the entire occupied territories, underscoring that the Muslim nation must support this unarmed people who are facing genocide.
