[ecr] Charing a meeting that deals with this issue in the Sablettes Promenade, Krikou pointed out that this campaign, which coincides with the celebration of the International Children's Day (1 June of each year), is part of the execution of the national strategy for the road accident prevention and safety.

This campaign’s program includes various awareness activities meant to emphasize road safety and the importance of prevention from traffic accidents and the damages and human losses they cause, especially physical handicaps.

From their parts, the representatives of security services highlighted that this awareness campaign will promote traffic culture among road users, calling for the respect of road codes and security instructions to avoid accidents.

The meeting was held in the presence of the national solidarity sector’s local committees, representatives of the National Police, the National Gendarmerie, the Civil Protection, and of the National Road Safety Delegation.[/ecr]
