Krikou receives UNICEF’s representative to Algeria 

ALGIERS-The Minister of National Solidarity, Family and Women’s Affairs, Kaouter Krikou, received Monday, in Algiers, the representative of the United Nation Children’s Fund (UNICEF) to Algeria, Katarina Johansson, the ministry said in a press release.

During this meeting, Krikou showcased “Algeria’s experience in child care, notably in discovering and supporting creative and innovative children,” as well as “the pedagogical care of people with specific needs", affirming that it will continue to “enhance collaboration with UNICEF to prioritize children's best interests", the source added.

From her side, Johansson hailed “the sector's efforts in childcare,” noting “the effectiveness of coordination between the National Solidarity sector and other sectors, particularly National Education and Vocational Training in terms of support for people with special needs, these efforts gave results for the achievement of socio-economic integration of this category.”[/ecr]
