Algerian Red Crescent: Support initiative for poor school children

ALGIERS- The Algerian Red Crescent and mobile phone operator Mobilis signed Saturday, in Algiers, a partnership agreement on the distribution of 125,000 schoolbags, with the required supplies, for schoolchildren of needy families ahead of the next school year.

The agreement was signed, at the headquarters of Mobilis, by the head of the Algerian Red Crescent, Ibtissem Hamlaoui, and the communication officer of Mobilis, Farah Ouchabane, in the presence of the CEO of Mobilis, Chaouki Boukhazani.

Boukhazani shed light on the importance of the agreement, concluded as part of the social activities of Mobilis, as it provides for a "contribution, jointly with other players, to support certain social groups."

Hamlaoui said the solidarity action consisted of schoolbags with all required supplies to children of needy families in various parts of the country, ahead of the next school year, adding that the beneficiaries were pupils from different primary and middle schools.
