African Youth Forum in Oran: Hammad reiterates Algeria's commitment to supporting African youth

ORAN- Minister of Youth and Sports, Abderrahmane Hammad, reiterated on Monday evening in Oran Algeria's commitment to supporting African youth and enabling them to acquire tools for knowledge and progress by strengthening partnerships to address the challenges and issues of the 21st century.

[ecr] Speaking at the closing session of the 4th African Youth Forum, in the presence of Minister of Vocational Training and Education, Yassine Merabi, and ambassadors from several African countries, Hammad said that this event was rich in visions and ideas about the future of our continent.

Multiple topics relating to education, employment, health, entrepreneurship, and innovation were during this forum, he added. 

These are issues that keep pace with today's ongoing technological and digital transformation, he added, noting that he observed "a strong willingness among African youth to face challenges in order to achieve a better future for our continent."

On this occasion, Hammad presented some of the measures taken by Algerian public authorities in in favor of youth in line with the directives of President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, who has placed youth "at the center of his priorities in all areas." [/ecr]
