Belmehdi receives in Jeddah Saudi officials in charge of Hajj season organization

ALGIERS — The Minister of Religious Affairs and Wakfs, Youcef Belmehdi, met Monday in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) with Saudi officials in charge of organizing the Hajj season, as part of his official visit to this country in preparation for the upcoming 2025/1446 Hajj season, as per a ministry statement.

Belmehdi “received on Monday at his residence in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) the advisor to the Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Abdulmohsen Al Salem, president of the Strategy and Performance Management Center and head of the Vision Realization Office at the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah,” according to the same source.

The meeting was attended by Algeria's Consul General in Jeddah, Mohamed Alem, the Director General of the National Office of Pilgrimage and Umrah (ONPO), Taher Braik, Deputy Director General, Salah Bouterfa, the Deputy Consul General, the Director General's advisor, and the representative of the Algerian pilgrims affairs office directorate in Saudi Arabia, the statement concluded.
