Sakiet Sidi Youcef massacres: Start of shooting of Historical film El Sakia

EL KEF (Tunisia)- The minister of Moujahideen and Rights Holders, Laid Rebiga, supervised Wednesday in El Kef, Tunisia, the start of the filming of the first Algerian 3D animation movie, entitled "El Sakia."

The 70-miniute film is produced by the ministry of Mujahideen and Rights Holders and directed by Naoufel Klach, while the screenplay dealing with the events of Sakiet Sidi Youcef is written by Tayeb Touhami.

The movie, to be produced over a period of 30 weeks with the involvement of 20 technicians, includes scenes to be shot in Algeria: Algiers, Medea and Souk Ahras.

The film deals with epic of Sakiet Sidi Youcef, a border area in which the blood of both Algerian and Tunisian peoples was spilled in the bombing of French colonial Army, as the two peoples united with determination for independence and liberty.
