The award is open for all Algerian poets of "Fasih" and "Malhoune," provided that the poem is unpublished and composed exclusively for the competition.

Following the pre-selection, the poets will compete for the Grand Prix in each genre (Fasih and Malhoune), and the awards will be awarded to the winners at the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan.

The award jury, made up of poets and academics, may suggest additional or encouragement prizes.
