The movie, shown at the Boualem-Bassaïh Opera of Algiers, was attended by the speaker of the Council of the Nation (upper house of Parliament), Salah Goudjil, the advisor to the president of the Republic for Education, Higher Education, Vocational Training and Culture, Mohamed Seghir Saadaoui, the minister of the Interior, Local Authorities and National Planning, Brahim Merad, the minister of Culture and Arts, Soraya Mouloudji, the minister of Mujahideen and Rights Holders, Laïd Rebiga, as well as members of the government and Parliament (MPs), the sister of the martyr Larbi Ben M'hidi, Drifa Ben M'hidi, artists and the film's crew.
The 115-minute historical film is about some chapters of the life and the militant career of Larbi Ben M'hidi, from his childhood, in Douar El-Kouahi (Ain M'lila), until his death.
It sheds light on the main historical stages of the Algerian Revolution (1954-1962) and its iconic figures.
