The website also provides access to the award’s internal regulations and conditions of participation.

The HCA noted that the jury for the 5th edition of this award, which is dedicated to promoting Amazigh literature and language, has been renewed as per the presidential decree No. 24-57 of January 23 last.

The jury is made up of “national scientific experts in this field, representing the different linguistic variants of Tamazight.”

This decree, which amends and supplements the presidential decree No. 20-288, now allows candidates under 20 years of age to take part in this award.

Set up through a presidential decree in 2020, the President of the Republic’s Award for Amazigh Literature and Language aims to encourage research, production and promotion of Amazigh literature and language.

The first three winners will be awarded a certificate of appreciation as well as a financial reward of one (1) million dinars, DZD500,000 and DZD250,000, respectively.

Organized and funded by the HCA, the award will be presented on 12 January 2025 on the occasion of the celebration of the Amazigh New Year “Amenzu n Yennayer 2975,” according to the HCA.
