12th International Malouf Festival wraps up

CONSTANTINE-The 12th International Cultural Malouf Festival, which kicked off last Saturday at Ahmed Bey “Zenith” hall in Constantine, wrapped up on Wednesday evening with the euphoria of four performances by the Tyrès troupe from the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) and Algerian artists Rym Hakiki, Abbès Righi, and Manel Gharbi.

The evening kicked off with an electrifying performance by the Tyrès musical troupe from the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic, who played pieces with Sahrawi tonality, immersing the audience in an upbeat and joyful atmosphere.

A song titled “Djazair Ard El Houria” performed by the troupe was warmly applauded by the numerous spectators who came to attend this closing evening themed “Lakloub Maâkom.”

The Algerian artist Rym Hakiki, then took the stage, enchanting the crowd with her masterful interpretation of Arab-Andalusian and Hawzi music, creating an intimate atmosphere that transported listeners to a realm of sublime beauty.
