“It is certain that this Conference will have a central and historic role in re-examining the cinematographic landscape and revitalizing film production and industry in Algeria, through the exchange and sharing of ideas and constructive proposals among all film professionals,” said Ballalou in a speech at the opening of the National Conference on Cinema at Abdelatif-Rahal International Conference Centre (CIC, Algiers).

He emphasized that the Culture and Arts sector ensures that this Conference is “an event bringing together all professionals of the sector without any exception to achieve together a better tomorrow for Algerian cinema.”

The minister also emphasized that his department “will work tirelessly to concretely implement on the ground the recommendations of this Conference and support the artistic and economic direction adopted by the State.”
