In a plenary session of the Council of the Nation devoted to oral questions, Baddari said that his sector has recorded key figures in terms of boosting research, development and economic valorization entities in academic and research institutions, including the creation of 96 business incubators, over 3,000 spaces for start-ups and more than 100 CDEs.
The minister said that the sector gives major importance to supporting scientific research, noting that it has 1,801 research laboratories, 47 research units, 30 research centers, 183 common services and over 60 manufacturing laboratories.
On this occasion, he affirmed that these centers are tools for developing the skills of enrolled or graduated students, since graduates have the possibility to carry on their research and be accompanied by research laboratories to get results in the form of an innovative project label, a patent invention or providing solutions to socioeconomic needs, Beddari said.
