Algerian Mohamed Ben Ahmed University, Turkish Atatürk University sign twinning agreement

ORAN (Algeria)- A twinning agreement was signed Tuesday in Oran (432-km west of Algiers) between the Mohamed Ben Ahmed University of Oran and the Atatürk University of Türkiye to enhance academic ties, sources from Oran's university said.

The agreement, signed by the president of Mohamed Ben Ahmed University, Professor Ahmed Chaalal, and the chief of Atatürk University, Omer Comakli, is aimed at boosting academic and cultural relations between the two institutions and promoting excellence in higher education.

It is mainly intended for the exchange of teachers, students and administrative personnel, the creation of joint research teams, the establishment of training programmes for a double degree and the participation in international cooperation projects as part of the Erasmus+ programme.
