Italian Prime Minister's diplomatic adviser visits CNRST

ALGIERS- Italy's diplomatic adviser to the Prime Minister, Fabrizio Saggio, accompanied by Italian ambassador to Algeria, Alberto Cutillo, visited on Tuesday the headquarters of the National Centre for Scientific Research and Technology (CNRST).

The President of the National Council for Scientific Research and Technology (CNRST), Mohamed Tahar Abadlia, received Fabrizio Saggio in his capacity as ‘government coordinator of the Mattei Plan," as part of "the implementation of Algerian-Italian cooperation in its African dimension," Kebri Malika, adviser to President of the CNRST in charge of international cooperation, told the press.

On this occasion, the two parties discussed means of "setting up a training centre with an African dimension," she added.

Italy has begun implementing the Mattei Plan for the development of cooperation relations with Africa, starting with Algeria, as the gateway to Africa. [/ecr]
