Health awareness: Six Algerians among winners of Saudi “Waai Award”

RIYAD-Six Algerians are among the winners of the sixth “Waai Award” contest, organized by the Saudi Ministry of Health to encourage content creators contributing to awareness-raising in the field of health in the Arab world.

The winners are Mohamed Amine Bendadi in adverstising photography, Mohsen Dahmoun El Hadi in infographic design (individuals), Yasmine Hamoudi and Abdelkader Rochdi Bakou in the infographics category (students), Elias Ould Menouar in the short film category (students) and Kheirat Ahsen in the long sequence category.

The prize awarding ceremony was chaired on Monday in Riyad, by the Saudi Minister of Health, Fahad bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Jalajel, in the presence of the Saudi Minister of Education, Yousef Abdullah Al-Benyan, and content creators involved in raising awareness in the field of health.

The “Waai Award” contest encouraged content creation on health prevention and awareness. It witnesses a large participation at the local and Arab levels. [/ecr]
