The meeting, held in the presence of Qatar’s Ambassador to Algeria, Abdulaziz Ali Al-Naama, as well as executives from the central administration, was “an opportunity to express satisfaction with the progress of the Algeria-Qatar-Germany hospital project, thanks to the good governance of both countries under the leadership of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani,” said the source.

In this regard, the minister stressed that the hospital project “is the starting point for Qatar’s investments in Algeria” in the health sector.

“I hope to see these investments extended to other projects given the willingness of both parties,” said the same official.

He also insisted on “completing the project on schedule, i.e., by the end of 2026.”

For his part, the CEO of Estithmar Holding welcomed the “support of the Algerian authorities for the consolidation of the Qatari presence in Algeria, and the success of the projects registered and outlined in the health sector,” noting “the implementation of a dense program, following a clear roadmap, to bring the Algeria-Germany-Qatar hospital project to fruition within the allotted time.”

Al-Khayyat also took the opportunity to “heartfeltly thank all those who have contributed to the support of this project, led by the Minister of Health and all the executives of the central administration, inviting them to visit Doha, to take a close look at the Qatari health sector and the international hospitals the country has, which use Artificial Intelligence (AI), particularly in medical diagnosis, but also to attend scientific workshops.”[/ecr]
