The meeting, which took place on the sidelines of the 14th Conference of Arab Ministers of Education, in the presence of Algeria's Ambassador to Qatar, Salah Attia, saw both parties review “the privileged relations between the two countries, particularly in education and scientific research, as well as means to advance them.”
The statement noted that while discussing “the exchange of experiences and expertise between the two countries,” the ministers agreed on “developing cooperation regarding preparations for implementing the 5th Executive Program for Educational Cooperation, which will be at the heart of the upcoming Algerian-Qatari Joint High Commission's work scheduled for February 12-13.”
The two parties also agreed on “developing cooperation in cybersecurity and databases for school and public institutions under supervision,” the same source said.
The two ministers, who also chair the National Commissions for Education, Science and Culture in their respective countries, explored ways to enhance “bilateral cooperation in scientific research and culture domains.”
