The two agreements were signed Wednesday in Muscat, Oman, by the director of the Algerian Petroleum Institute, Abdelkader Guenoune, and the director of the Sonatrach Management Academy (SMA), Souad Abdallah, representing the Algerian side, and the chairman and CEO of Abraj, Saif Al-Hamhami, representing the Omani side, in the presence of a number of executives from the two sides.
The agreements provide for the establishment of a joint framework of action to launch specialized training programmes, to develop the technical and administrative skills of employees and boost exchange of expertise in training and scientific research, according to the statement.
The agreements aim to strengthen strategic partnership between the two sides, according to the memorandum of understanding signed on 24 April 2024.
This cooperation reflects the commitment of both parties to a strategic partnership based on the development of skills and on the enhancement of bilateral relations to the best of their common interests, the statement concluded.
