ALGIERS-The University of Constantine 3 Salah-Boubnider won the gold medal in the higher education category at the International Arab Youth Competition for Innovative Food Security Projects, organized as part of the International Conference on Food Security in Qatar, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research said Saturday in a press release.

Student Mefaradj Sara from the University of Constantine 3 Salah-Boubnider won first place (gold medal) in the higher education category at the International Arab Youth Competition for Innovative Food and Water Security Projects, organized by Qatar University of Science and Technology, as part of the International Conference on Food and Water Security in the Face of Climate Change, said the press release.

The student participated with a project on “improving the cultivation of azolla and duckweed for low-cost production of nutritious livestock feed,” according to the same source.
