Start-ups: Think tank launched with members of national community abroad

ALGIERS-A virtual thematic think tank was launched Sunday at the National Polytechnic School of El Harrach (Algiers), with young people from the national community abroad, on “the business climate and start-ups in Algeria.”

The launch of this initiative was chaired by the Minister of Youth, in charge of the Higher Council for Youth (CSJ), Mustapha Hidaoui, the Minister of Knowledge Economy, Start-ups, and Micro-enterprises, Noureddine Ouadah, the Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, in charge of the National Community Abroad, Sofiane Chaib.

In this respect, Hidaoui emphasized the importance that Algeria places on its youth both within the country and abroad, to strengthen their role and contribution to economic development, stressing that the new Algeria is working to consolidate ties with young people of the community.

For his part, Ouadah welcomed the efforts made by the State to improve the business climate and encourage the spirit of initiative among young people, emphasizing the importance of involving national skills established abroad in achieving development.

Chaib affirmed that such initiatives offer the opportunity to establish contacts with young Algerians established abroad, regarding ways to involve them in various national development processes, welcoming the evolution of the start-up climate in Algeria which encourages investment.
