Chairing, via video link, a meeting on the organisation of on-call services in the country's hospitals during the Eid al-Fitr, with the provincial directors of Health, Saihi said "new hospitals will be opened in the first half of 2025 in several provinces, mainly in the country's south," as part of the extension of health coverage, promotion of public service and the improvement of patient care."

Saihi said that "12 hospitals with a capacity of 240 beds, 28 hospitals (120 beds) and 48 hospitals (60 beds) will be opened."

Once delivered, those health facilities will contribute to "the improvement of the level of health care," adding that such achievements show "the State's concern to ensure optimum patient care."
