BEIRUT, Oct 30 (KUNA) -- Over 30 people were killed and at least 15 others were injured Tuesday in a new wave of Israeli occupation's air raids on Lebanese cities and towns.
In a press statement, the Emergency Operations Center of the Lebanese Ministry of Health said that the Israeli warplanes bombed residential buildings in the town of Sahmar in the western Bekaa Governorate, resulting in the killing of 11 people and the injury of 15 others.
Additional 11 people were also killed in an Israeli airstrike on a house in the town of Beit Salibi in the Baalbek-Hermel Governorate, the National News Agency reported.
In a separate attack, an Israeli occupation aircraft bombed a two-story house in the town of Bednayel in the Baalbek-Hermel Governorate, killing at least 8 people, and wounding several others.
On Tuesday, the Ministry of Health estimated that the death toll from Israel's airstrikes against Lebanon since last October at 2,792.
It added that over 12,772 people have also been wounded since hostilities began last October.
Since September 23, Lebanon has been witnessing intense airstrikes by the Israeli occupation across various regions, resulting in significant casualties, widespread damage, and the displacement of hundreds of thousands. (Pick up previous) fz.ibi
