CAIRO, Nov 5 (KUNA) -- Two Egyptian officers were killed in a helicopter crash due to a technical fault during a training mission in Al-Shalufa area in Egypt's northeastern Suez Governorate on Tuesday, said the army.
"In the context of the Air Force's training activity today (Tuesday), a helicopter fell into Al-Shalufa area owing to a technical fault, which has led to the martyrdom of two officers," Spokesman of the Egyptian Army Col. Ghareeb Abdel-Hafeth said in a press statement.
Concerned organs were taking the required measures in this regard, the spokesman added, offering sincere condolences to the families of the deceased officers. (end) ism.mt
